Our Teacher Preparation Program (TEP) at UPRH was accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) in 2010. Also known as the educator preparation provider (EPP), the TEP includes two initial-licensure programs: B.A. in English with a Concentration in English Elementary Education or a Concentration in English Secondary Education and B.A. Education K-3 with a Minor in Special Education. The TEP is in the planning stage to seek accreditation by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
