The University of Puerto Rico offers text message (SMS) notifications to keep students, employees, and other users informed about institutional services.

How can you subscribe to receive SMS messages?

To receive SMS messages, you must:

  1. Voluntarily provide your mobile phone number on an official University of Puerto Rico form. ( go to form)
  2. Expressly agree to receive SMS messages by checking the corresponding consent box.
  3. Submit the form.

Once this process is complete, you will be able to receive messages related to the requested services.

The messages may include:

  • Appointment reminders
  • Academic notifications
  • Enrollment updates
  • Authentication codes (OTP/MFA)
