Cristina Salazar Piñeiro is a strategic and social catalyst that has ample experience working with community development NGOs, philanthropic organizations, and entrepreneurial ecosystem building efforts. She led the Foundation for Puerto Rico’s Imagine Santurce program and later served as a development officer at the Puerto Rico Community Foundation. She then focused on supporting the development of the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem on the Island through her role in Colmena66, a program of the Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust, where she spearheaded the first Boricua Emprende Fest, Puerto Rico’s first SBIR Road Tour, and many other entrepreneurship ecosystem building strategies. Cristina holds an MPA in Nonprofit Administration and leads community building, communications and innovation efforts within the Disaster Recovery Coordination Program.
